Camila Carraro Mendes, born on June 29th, 1994 is an American actress, born in Virginia. Her father is from Brasilia and her mother is from Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. She is now 25 years old and some interesting fact she is 1.57m tall which is 5.1 feet. She has spent most of her time in Florida, where she attended American Heritage School. Mendes graduated from New York University of the Arts in May 2016. Mendes is known for playing Veronica Lodge in the teen drama series called “Riverdale”. But before she got the call to star in the series she was filming a commercial for IKEA. She started acting professionally in 2017 and her career is still going.
“Riverdale” was her first major acting role. But it was hard to get that job. She was the last participant in the audition and in the end it all payed off very nice for her. After seeing her in “Riverdale” she got some invites to film some new movies like “The New Romantic”, “The perfect date”, “Coyote Lake” and some new upcoming movies like “Palm Springs” and “Windfall”. Besides the movies, Mendes has been featured in two music videos: “Give a little” – from Maggie Rogers and “Side effects” – by The Chainsmokers featuring Emily Warren.
Camilla Mendes Boyfriend
Camila Mendes had some eating problems but with the help from her social media fans she is dealing with that very well. That eating disorder is no problem for her boyfriend Charles Melton. They recently celebrated One-Year Anniversary and it looks like they are happily in love with each other. She is trying to separate her personal life with her business life and I think that is going pretty good for her since her career and love life are going smoothly.
Nominations and Wins
Camila Mendes has been nominated couple of times and has won one, which is the “Teen Choice Award” category Scene Stealer from the series “Riverdale”. In 2018 she was nominated for the “Teen Choice Award” once again but now for “Choice TV Ships” shared with K.J Apa and for “Choice TV Actress: Drama” and also for “People’s Choice Awards, USA” for “Favorite Female TV Star” but unfortunately she didn’t win any of those. She had a nominee for “Best Kiss” in 2018 and a “Choice TV Actress: Drama” in 2019 plus “Best Kiss” which was also in 2019. These all nominees are for “Riverdale” series.
